CSC Health Services exists to educate students about appropriate healthcare services, promoting overall health and well-being, equipping students for a lifetime of healthy habits.

Counseling & Medical services are free and confidential for CSC students.

Emergency Medical Care

  • Call 911 or 9-911 from a campus phone
  • Emergency Room at Chadron Community Hospital
  • Some reasons to call 911 or go to the E.R.
    • Chest pain/pressure
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Fainting/passing out
    • High fever
    • Severe allergic reaction
    • Severe injuries and illnesses
    • Severe pain
    • Severe vomiting
    • Suspect alcohol poisoning or overdoes
    • Uncontrolled bleeding
      Note: Transportation via ambulance, emergency room and hospital visits and stays are the financial responsibility of the student.
  • Unsure how to proceed and it's after CSC Nurse and Medical Assistant hours?
    • Call the hospital at 308-432-5586 and ask to speak to a nurse.

Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention

  • If you are thinking about harming yourself, or someone you know is considering harming themselves, the quickest way to get help is to call 911 or 9-911 from a campus phone.
  • Or, dial 988 or 1-800-273-8255 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
